YMG Junior Academy

Stokesley Golf Range offers the Young Masters Golf coaching programme, which is the perfect way to get into the great game of golf! As long as you are aged between 6 and 16 and are ready to have some great fun, then YMG is for you.

Youngsters joining the YMG Academy receive a comprehensive manual, which puts as much emphasis on the rules and etiquette as it does on playing the game, and there are five levels to work through, each comprising of 8 one-hour lessons. The extremely attractive and carefully assembled manual enables youngsters to see what's in store, week-by-week for each of the 9 levels (Cadets, Cadets2, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Masters 1 - 4) and each level is marked by a series of skills and knowledge challenges which the children must complete before they can move on the next level.

Once the level is completed each child receives a Certificate (Pass, Merit or Distinction) and Badge. Trophies are awarded to the Player Of The Course and Most Improved Player.
